This quilt is the first in my 3-D Explosion series to be stretched on a canvas. It measures 16" X 20". I won an Honorable Mention with it in the spring members show for the Art League of Marin in May, 2008. This show was held at our new museum in Marin called The Marin Museum of Contemporary Art or MarinMOCA. Photo credit Gregory Case www.gregorycase.com

This small quilt is only 8" X 24" and is stretched on a canvas so that it hangs like a picture. It will soon be available for sale! Photo credit Gregory Case www.gregorycase.com

Magna Cum Laude

Magna Cum Laude

Commissioned and owned by Jean and Clem Falbo. Finished in April, 2006. I had so much fun designing and creating this fabulous quilt! It measures 36" X 60", which turned out to be a really nice dimension to work with. Photo credit Gregory Case www.gregorycase.com

This quilt is actually finished. I thought you might like to see what part of my studio looks like when I have something up on the design wall. This design is from the Handkerchief quilt in Passionate Patchwork book by Kaffe Fassett and Liza Prior Lucy. I made this as a teaching sample before I began to create my own designs.

After making this quilt out of the bright commercial fabrics, I wanted to try something different. So I rounded up my dyed, painted and marbled fabrics up and this was the fantastic result.

My Revealing Reflection

My Revealing Reflection

59" W X 51" L
2001
This quilt started out as a portrait of a woman with lots of gorgeous hair. Since I don’t like to do eyes, I used a flower fabric for her “rose colored glasses” that were so popular when I was young. After completing the quilt, I realized it was a self-portrait.
