Gallery

Welcome to my Gallery!

These quilts will give you a taste of what I am up to. At this point in time none are for sale, but that will change. I am shooting for early next year to have some quilts available for sale.

Magna Cum Laude

Magna Cum Laude

Commissioned and owned by Jean and Clem Falbo. Finished in April, 2006. I had so much fun designing and creating this fabulous quilt! It measures 36" X 60", which turned out to be a really nice dimension to work with.

This quilt is actually finished. I thought you might like to see what part of my studio looks like when I have something up on the design wall. This design is from the Handkerchief quilt in Passionate Patchwork book by Kaffe Fassett and Liza Prior Lucy. I made this as a teaching sample before I began to create my own designs.

After making this quilt out of the bright commercial fabrics, I wanted to try something different. So I rounded up my dyed, painted and marbled fabrics up and this was the fantastic result.

This quilt won Viewers Choice at the International Quilt Festival in 2003. I am so thrilled to have won the approval of my peers!

This is the quilt that started the 3-D Explosion series. Playing with swirls and perspective really inspires me to make lots of great quilt designs.

My Revealing Reflection

My Revealing Reflection

This quilt started out as a portrait of a woman with lots of gorgeous hair. Since I don’t like to do eyes, I used a flower fabric for her “rose colored glasses” that were so popular when I was young. After completing the quilt, I realized it was a self-portrait.
